House System
After registration is complete, each student will be assigned to a house and is expected to participate in all house related activities. The four houses are named after four (4) house patrons, who annually contribute to our school’s sporting programme.
- Nicholson – Yellow
- McBeth – Blue
- Lee – Green
- Henry – Red
The purpose of the House System is to provide a forum to build camaraderie, while providing an avenue for healthy competition in athletics and academics.
Some athletic activities included in the inter-house competition are:
- Cheerleading and dance
- Track events, sprint middle distant, and long distant races
- Basketball competition, Football and netball competition
- Field Events: long jump, high jumps, shot put and discus.
- Some Inter-House Academic Competitions are:
- Debate competition and
- Skills competitions e.g. Inter-house cook-off
- House worship is usually held on Thursdays and houses meet in designated areas.
