Sports

Sports is an integral part of school life at Marcus Garvey Technical High School. We believe in good physical health as a part of the holistic development of our students. It is expected that all students to participate in at least one sporting activity.

Athletics is divided into three groups:

  • Physical education classes: time tabled for all students up to Grade 13
  • Inter house competitions: sports day, football, track and fall, cricket, netball, rugby and volleyball
  • External Competitions:
    • ISSA Competitions: football, track and fall, cricket, netball, rugby and volleyball.
    • Parish competitions: Football
